The Latest News...

I have tentatively taken a position with Lange Eye Care. The contract is being negotiated between my Legal department (Thanks Eric!) and Lange's Attorney... things are going well and I've planned on beginning there July 17th! I will have as part of my comprehensive contract, complete flexibility in my working schedule, guaranteed minimum salary, no set vacation time, and I can earn as much for good ole' Uncle Sam as I'm willing to work for. I have been most recently looking at various custom home builders around the Ocala/Belleview/Weirsdale/Lady Lake area and I'm taking a trip up there on the 15th to tour some of the builders homes that have been done for some folks in the area.

Jessica is on the homefront, fervently making gifts for the attendants of the wedding, assisting Teresa (mother) and Valerie (grandmother) in their dress choices after having chosen the bridesmaids dresses with her gals, my sister included........Jess is even picking out materials and pattern ideas for our Florida born flower girl (just wait til you see her....cute as a button!) Heather is looking for precious lil' Abigail's (picture below) honorary flower girl dress in Kentucky. The Lexington-Ky based artist/cake designer is all but baking the cake, and we're currently deciding between traditional buttercream icing vs. Fondant? If you're as confused as I was, check out the link and let me know what you think you'd like....only if you have tasted both please. Needless to say, there is a lot of work behind "The Bash" which will culminate on September 23rd, 2006 as the union of two Kentucky families....no, we're not related!!! Thanks Jessica, you're doing a superb job....I'm so lucky to be with you I could just burst. So, all in all, things are going as planned and without DeLay (R- TX). Hope everyone is keeping up with current events and got my perfectly placed joke. Lastly, keep the emails coming if you're sending them and if you're not - START. I love hearing from everyone and for goodness sake, get an eye exam!
