Thank goodness.... As we all know, Monday is my least favorite day at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute here in Miami, Florida. I occasionally wish, on these forsaken days, that someone would take me out of my misery from somewhere beyond the grassy knoll. Thankfully, only one more of these days exist, nevermore to return.
If anyone watched the Miami Heat game last night, it was one amazing game! The Heat pulled another one out in OVERTIME winning 101-100 against the Dallas Mavericks. So, now the HEAT are up 3-2 in the best of 7.
Take a look at the above photos everyone.... a 3D image of the retina in a patient with Wet Macular Degeneration and Pigment Epithelial Detachments (PED). This technology is being developed here at Bascom Palmer with an instrument called the Spectral Domain Ocular Coherence Tomograph.
